For use in soap making Neon Pigments are stable in cold process, hot process and melt & pour soap for when you want to make beautiful swirls and designs.
These super bright Neon Pigment colours work great alone or you can dyes or mica powders to them for added effects.
Our mica powders are very versatile and can be used in your soap making, epoxy resin, lip gloss, bath bombs, nail art, aroma beads, wax melts and home sizzlers an so much more. You just need inspiration and mica powder.
How to use mica in Epoxy Resin: Make amazing works of art with brilliant mica powders. Just stir mica into your combined resin and hardener. If you are doing larger items, add mica to a small amount in a cup and mix well before adding to your main batch.
How to use mica for soap making: Mica powders add rich, vibrant colours to Melt and Pour and Cold Process soap. If using in melt and pour, they work really well in a clear base and the sparkle of the mica is very effective. Micas are heat-resistant for less dye migration and more accurate results.
How to use mica for bath bombs: Mica Powder can provide rich colours in your bath bombs. Add Polysorbate 80 to your bath bomb mix to prevent residue in the bathtub at a ratio of 1:2 to your oil ingredients.
How to use mica in wax melts and candles: Adding a pinch of mica to your melted wax gives a beautiful shimmering effect for wax melts. Stir continuously until ready to pour. It is best not to use mica powder for candles as it can clog the wick and cause issues with your candle.
How to use mica for lip gloss: Mica powder will give that shimmery effect to your lip gloss. For the best results, add mica to your oils before combining with your lip gloss base. You can always mix and match pigments to make your own custom colours.
Always remember to weigh your mica for what you are making and keep an accurate account of your recipes.
